Northgard is a hybrid city builder and RTS (Real Time Strategy) Game. Through your time here you’ll manage resources, build up settlements, create armies, and fight to conquer and defend those around your clan.

What’s nice about buying Northgard now is that it has a plethora of extra content to experience. The developer’s have been releasing story and faction DLC periodically since the game’s launch, and while similar games of the genre may have more to offer overall, Northgard brings a pretty decent variety of play and content to enjoy.

Northgard is sitting at a concerning current Steam review status of ‘Mixed,’ but its overall rating is ‘Very Positive.’ A lot of the complaints people are having about the game is that it quickly becomes repetitive, and that the multiplayer is very hit or miss.

The Evoland series is a love letter to games and gamer culture. In your time with Evoland you’ll explore a variety of places and locations, meet quirky characters and foes, and experience the history of gaming from 2d adventure titles like Zelda to the nostalgic block graphics of the PS1 era.

Evoland is a bit of a gimmick title. It’s a solid game, but it’s nothing amazing. What these titles offer is a nice shot of good feels and memory for those old enough to have played the various styles of graphics on display.

Gamers who want a bit of a nostalgic hit and enjoy adventure games will find a fine time in Evoland 1 & 2. It’s a niche market through, and unless that descriptor matches you, you’ll probably find a better time elsewhere.
