Video Game Developer 11 Bit Studios has a sale running on Steam from October 8th – 13th. It’s not one you want to miss!

11 Bit Studios has had a run of successful games throughout their time as a game developer, and here are our top three favorites!
Frost Punk:
The world has died, ice has taken root, and you find yourself in charge of a small band of people hoping, praying, to survive despite the harshness of a world no longer made to sustain human life.
That’s what you get with Frost Punk, a survival / city building game from 11 Bit Studios. As the head of your city in the frozen tundra you’ll choose how your society of survivors develops both structurally and socially in order to survive. Sign new laws into effect, research new technologies to best harness the world around you, and at all times remember, never, ever, let the heating generator at the center of your city go out – it’s all that’s keeping your people from a quick and frost bitten end.
Pick up Frost Punk: Game of the Year Edition now for the low cost of 35$, this includes all three of the game’s year one DLC packs. Or, grab the base game for 15.99$ on sale at Steam.

This War of Mine:
The world has ended, and war tears through an already ruined landscape. Your war is not one of grand battlefields and glory, or of saving a nation or city. No, your fight is the fight of survival, pure and simple.
In This War of Mine you’ll be in charge of a small group of men and women seeking to etch out a living after a devastating conflict has rocked the nation in which you live. You’ll send people out on scavenging missions, build up base defenses and facilities, and fend off attacks from raiders and illness alike as you do your best to keep your people breathing yet another day.
Where Frost Punk was all about city building and resource management, This War of Mine comes down for a closer view. At the end of the day, you’re still needing to keep an eye on resources available to you, medicine and food and the like, but overall this game is less about long-term planning and more about making solid choices in the moment. Things can go bad fast though, and you will definitely lose some people along the way. Can you keep even just a few alive though? Find out now!
This War of Mine can be grabbed now on Steam for 10.38$, a price that includes the base game, DLC, and story season pass.

Children of Moria:
Full disclosure, we’ve not yet played Children of Moria here at Scuttle Gamez, but now that it’s on sale it’s definitely on our list. And as we’re covering it here, a review will be hitting Scuttle Gamez soon – stay tuned!
In Children of Moria you’ll find a family of warriors and adventures to manage and see to greatness. Play as the Bergson family, seeking to build fortune and fame for their house. Each character plays differently, and has unique quirks and stories to uncover, and you’ve six options to choose from. Will you play the family patriarch John, who fights with sword and shield? Or perhaps you’ll opt instead for the fast stabs and jabs of son Kevin, with his flashing daggers, or even the youngest daughter of the family, Lucy, who battles with fire from afar as a mage; the choice is yours.
Children of Moria is a hack & slash rogue-lite game. You’ll fight enemies of all kinds from a top-down vantage, with a wonderfully unique style of hand drawn and pixel art to feast your eyes upon. The gameplay looks fast, action oriented, and we’re very much looking forward to giving it a try.
Children of Moria sits at very positive review status on Steam now, and can be purchases for 19.79$ until the 13th of October at a 10% discount.
